The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles , for both the recreational and competitive level dancer and possess the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages. This role involves teaching dance classes, developing curriculum, and providing a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Duties Design and implement engaging dance lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Instruct students in various dance styles with a focus on technique, rhythm, and performance. Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes confidence and enjoyment in dance. Develop age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and student interests. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Help organize and participate in recitals, performances, competitions and other events to showcase student achievements. Maintain a safe and clean studio environment for all participants. Experience The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in teaching dance Skills in childcare that enhance the ability to connect with young learners. Familiarity with curriculum development to create structured lesson plans. Additional skills such as Acro certification or any other specialty certifications pertaining to dance.
