Job Description:

Act 1 Dance is seeking a passionate and energetic Gymnastics/Acro/Tumbling Teacher to lead three class levels for our September-June season. The ideal candidate has experience working with children of various ages and skill levels, strong technique in acrobatics and tumbling, and a commitment to creating a positive and safe learning environment. This position includes choreographing and preparing students for an end-of-season recital performance in June. Attendance at the recital (early June) is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Teach 3 weekly acro/tumbling classes of varying levels (beginner through advanced) Create and implement structured, progressive lesson plans tailored to each level Choreograph one recital routine per level for our June showcase Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging class environment Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Attend mandatory recital in early June and assist with student supervision backstage

Requirements:

Experience teaching acro, tumbling, or gymnastics to children Strong background in dance, acro, or gymnastics Ability to choreograph age-appropriate and creative recital routines Positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability Must be available from September through June and for the recital in early
