Hip Hop Dance Instructor 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 449 Pemberwick Rd, Greenwich, CT 06831 Hip Hop Teacher (Seasonal Position) We’re looking for an energetic, skilled Hip Hop instructor to join our faculty this season. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in street styles, connects easily with dancers of all ages, and creates a class atmosphere that is both disciplined and fun. Responsibilities Teach Hip Hop classes from beginner through intermediate (ages 6-18+). Choreograph an original piece for our spring performance. Provide individual corrections to help dancers grow in style, musicality, and confidence. Collaborate with fellow faculty members to maintain a positive, team-oriented studio environment. Maintain clear class expectations and an upbeat, encouraging vibe. Requirements Proven experience teaching Hip Hop to a range of age groups. Solid understanding of foundational Hip Hop techniques and movement vocabulary. Ability to choreograph and clean group routines. Strong communication and class management skills. Positive, motivating approach with students and staff. Preferred Qualifications Professional performance or industry experience (stage, commercial, or battle circuit). Ability to teach additional street/commercial styles (e.g., Jazz-Funk, Waacking, Breaking) is a plus.
