[Dancers] Audition will consist of an advanced dance combination [Vocalists] Please prepare a song selection that shows off your voice and range: 16 bars of pop or rock. Singers should be prepared to stay for a dance call immediately following. Pianist will be provided, bring sheet music, no CD accompaniment please. Please also bring your audition book, in case you are asked to sing another type of song selection. [Male Vocalist] Singer/mover. Mysterious, and irresistible. He is a sexy bad boy with a modern edge. Strong Pop-Rock singer with rock screams and ability to rap. Moves well. Top Note A. [Female Vocalist] Singer/mover. She is sexy, powerful, and feisty. A rock/R&B singer who moves well. Low to an F#

Rehearsal and Performance Dates:

SeaWorld Orlando is looking for vocalists and dancers to perform in Monster Stomp 2025. Howl-O-Scream 2025 is on September 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27, October 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, November 1. Applicants should be available for all dates of the event with an approximate shift time of 5:45pm to 12:00am Rehearsals for the show are August 19th-22rd 5:00pm-11:00pm, August 25-29 5:00pm-11:00pm, September 1-4th 5:00pm-11:00pm What you get to do: Serve as an expert performer in live stage shows in a theme park environment
Perform regularly in costume in assigned area adhering to set and/or show schedule
Openly accept performance feedback and critique, and adapt accordingly to maintain a high standard of performance
Perform duties of an expert character escort, which include: facilitating interaction and communication between character and guests, providing directions and park information, and entertaining guests
Assist character ambassadors with getting in and out of assigned costume
Provide solution-based ideas to solve problems
Support the team’s daily activities
Execute backstage tasks as outlined in daily schedule
Assist Costuming team with laundry and maintenance projects as needed
Ensure adherence to safety and procedural directions that accompany this position
Perform other duties as assigned What it takes to succeed: Personable and animated with a fun, outgoing personality
Ability to openly accept performance feedback/critiques and adapt accordingly
Ability to work in indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions and temperature while performing in a costume
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
Availability to work varying shifts and hours based on business needs; available to work opening, mid, closing, nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as after hour rehearsals
Ability to move and dance in full costume at a standard consistent with creative intent
Ability to maintain character integrity
Willingness to participate in regular internal performance assessments
Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed
Perform the following physical activities, kneeling, bending, squatting, jumping, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes. Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals What else is important: Previous costume character and/or dance experience preferred
Previous guest experience in a high volume capacity preferred
