Position Title:
Choir Director (if organist, additional pay! currently alternating substitute organ accompanists every week; pianist every week)
Job Summary:
1. This is a part-time salaried position — Sunday worship 10am & weekly rehearsal. 2. Works in partnership with the Pastor, and the Worship Committee to develop and grow the music ministry of Grace St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church. 3. Shall attend a once-a-month one-on-one meeting with the Pastor.
Job Requirements:
1. Experience and competency in choral conducting. 2. Knowledge of appropriate church music for Presbyterian worship and contemporary worship. 3. Understanding of Presbyterian or Reformed/Congregational worship, contemporary worship (none at moment) and music appropriate for each season of the church year. 4.
