The Director shall also coordinate events with the Band Board of Directors and the various cities where concerts are played The Director shall have prior experience in conducting bands, have superior knowledge of various instruments in the band, and have the ability to inspire the volunteer and amateur musicians to play to the best of their ability. The Director likely will have college degrees in the field of music performance, musical directing, and music theory.
