Job Description

Music/Performing Arts Director 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 250 78th Ave NE, Saint Petersburg, FL 33702 Holy Family Catholic School, a Catholic, parish school located in St. Petersburg, seeks a passionate and creative Music & Performing Arts Director for the 2025-2026 school year to inspire students in grades K-8. This individual will lead the school’s music and performing arts program, integrating faith and creativity into dynamic instruction and performances. The ideal candidate will cultivate an appreciation for music and the performing arts while fostering students’ talents in a nurturing, faith-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive music and performing arts curriculum for grades K-8. Lead general music classes, choir, and introductory instrumental instruction. Direct school performances, including seasonal concerts, liturgical music for Mass, and theatrical productions. Inspire students’ love for music and performing arts while fostering their technical skills. Provide opportunities for students to perform in school, parish, and community events. Select appropriate music and scripts that align with Catholic values and the school’s mission. Encourage student participation in extracurricular music and performing arts activities. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students of all skill levels. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding performances and classroom activities.

Qualifications:
