Required Skills and Duties:

Build and oversee the necessary teams to carry out the musical portion of the church service Develop the team to be able to lead worship while you are out for any reason Potentially develop multiple teams and create a rotation system Skilled vocally and in instrumental direction Skilled in organization, administration, and interpersonal relationships Skilled and/or knowledgeable in the use of technology in worship Ensure that selected music for the service is blended (a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music) Coordinate with the media team regarding the use of technology Plan the musical aspect of corporate worship services of the church in consultation with the Pastor Direct all weekly activities and rehearsals necessary to facilitate worship in services Plan and execute one Christmas time performance each year

cantata or play Seek opportunities for continued vocational and/or spiritual development
