The Director of Datacenter & Hybrid Cloud Serviceswill lead andexpand SHIs Datacenter & Hybrid Cloud Services practice, drivinginnovation and delivering exceptional solutions to our enterpriseclients. This role encompasses managing professional servicestechnical groups, and a robust services delivery partner ecosystem.
You will lead a team of Managers, ensuring the successful design,implementation, and management of complex infrastructure and cloudsolutions. Responsibilities Includes but not limited to:
StrategicLeadership & Practice Development:
o Develop and execute astrategic vision for the Datacenter & Hybrid Cloud Servicespractice, focusing on cutting-edge technologies and solutions. oEstablish and maintain best practices for datacenterinfrastructure, hybrid cloud platforms, advanced networking, andbusiness continuity/disaster recovery (BC/DR). o Drive continuousimprovement initiatives to optimize service delivery and enhancecustomer satisfaction. o Lead the development of service offeringsrelated to modern datacenter design, cloud migration, networktransformation, and BC/DR strategies.
Team Leadership &Development:
o Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams oftechnical professionals, including engineers & architects. oProvide coaching and professional development opportunities toenhance the technical expertise and leadership skills of teammembers. o Ensure the team maintains a deep understanding ofindustry trends and emerging technologies in datacenter, cloud,networking, and BC/DR domains.
Customer Engagement & SolutionDelivery:
o Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understandingtheir business needs and translating them into comprehensivetechnical solutions. o Oversee the successful execution of complexdatacenter, cloud, and networking projects, ensuring adherence totimelines, budgets, and quality standards. o Drive the developmentof compelling proposals and presentations that articulate the valueof SHIs services. o Ensure a world-class customer experiencethrough proactive communication, responsiveness, and technicalexcellence.
Technical Expertise & Collaboration:
o Maintain astrong understanding of datacenter infrastructure technologies(e.g., servers, storage, networking, virtualization), hybrid cloudplatforms (e.g., AWS Outposts, Azure Stack, Google Anthos),advanced networking (e.g., SDN, SD-WAN, BGP, MPLS), and BC/DRsolutions. o Collaborate with key technology partners (e.g., DellEMC, HPE, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware) to drive joint solutions andinitiatives. o Work closely with sales, presales, and otherinternal teams to ensure alignment and effective service delivery.o Ensure that the team is trained and certified on the latestrelevant technologies.
Business Development & Revenue Growth:
oDrive the growth of professional services revenue by identifyingand pursuing new business opportunities. o Manage pipelinedevelopment and resource utilization to maximize profitability. oDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key clients andpartners. o Ensure that the team is able to properly scope anddeliver on complex projects. Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years ofexperience in a leadership role within a technology servicesorganization, with a focus on datacenter, cloud, and networkingsolutions.
- Deep understanding of datacenter infrastructure,hybrid cloud platforms, advanced networking, and BC/DR technologiesand best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully leadingand growing technical services teams.
- Experience working withenterprise clients and managing complex projects.
- Strongunderstanding of RTO and RPO as it relates to disaster recovery.
- Experience with disaster recovery replication technologies.
- Experience with network virtualization.
- Experience withinfrastructure as code.
- Previous experience with IT management ortechnical sales management. Required Skills

- The estimated annualpay range for this position is $140,000 – $250,000 which includes abase salary and bonus.
The compensation for this position isdependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and marketlocation and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
