Salaried Position Salary:
$5,000/year firm
Under Supervision of Pastor Expectations:
Coordinate with pastor and pianist to choose weekly hymns and anthem that are in keeping with the liturgical season and theme of the worship service Maintain the music library Direct the choir for Sunday Service and special services Coordinate choir practice Coordinate with administrative assistant to ensure she or he is given all worship information by noon each Wednesday Required availability: Sunday morning 10:30am-12pm 1.5 hour choir practice Sunday evening (time variable) Special services, including but not limited to: Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunrise, Longest Night, Christmas Eve Prep and/or practice time each week, as needed and at own discretion Role in service to include but not limited to: leading all hymns, directing anthem Familiarity with Christian music preferred Must be able to Pass Background Check; will be re-checked every three years
