Position Summary:
A-State invites applications for a qualified, experienced Collaborative Pianist to rehearse and perform with students and possibly faculty. This position requires day, evening, and possibly weekend hours. This position is part-time and will be limited to working a maximum of 9 hours at all system campuses.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties could include working with choirs, singers, instrumentalists, and ensembles. Possible teaching of Applied Piano, Applied Collaborative Piano, and related courses.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrate strong ability in collaborative piano with singers and instrumentalists. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, necessary to interact effectively with all university constituents. Demonstrate reliability and strong organizational skills.
General Days/Hours:
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Requires day, evening, and possibly weekend hours

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Piano Performance, Collaborative Piano Performance, Piano Pedagogy, or related field required. Please send CV, links to at least 3 videos of collaborative performances, and names and contact information of at least 3 references.
