The ideal candidate will have a strong background in percussion and experience performing in various settings, including theater productions. This role requires creativity, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to different musical styles while contributing to the overall sound and performance. Responsibilities Perform as the primary drummer during rehearsals and live performances, ensuring high-quality musical execution. Collaborate with other musicians and production staff to create cohesive arrangements. Participate in rehearsals, providing input on arrangements and dynamics. Maintain and care for all drumming equipment, ensuring it is in optimal condition for performances. Adapt to various musical genres as required by the performance or production. Attend meetings with the production team to discuss show details, set lists, and rehearsal schedules. Contribute creatively to the development of new music or arrangements as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a drummer in live performances or theater settings. Proficiency in various drumming techniques and styles. Strong understanding of music theory and ability to read sheet music. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A passion for music and performance with a commitment to excellence. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and performance demands.
