Keyboard/Piano Player In His Army Apostolic Church Inc. 5017 Hollycrest Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32205 In His Army Apostolic Church Inc. is a ministry dedicated to evangelism, teaching, prophecy, healing, and deliverance. The Musician (Instrumental Worshiper) is tasked with guiding others to embody the essence of song lyrics, consistently honoring God for His love and goodness.
Job Purpose:
The Musician (Instrumental Worshiper) will work alongside the Worship Pastor or their appointed representative to foster a vibrant, passionate, and skilled worship culture at In His Army Church. This will be achieved through effective musical leadership.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
Candidates should be proficient in the specified instruments, capable of reading music, and able to play by ear. Previous experience in a band within a local church or ministry is essential. The role requires the ability to help create, coordinate, and lead worship experiences collaboratively with a team. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills are also necessary. The Musician will participate in all services and activities at In His Army Church, which may include Sunday mornings, Saturday prayer sessions, funerals, Bible studies, and special events.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Regular and punctual attendance at all Worship Team rehearsals and In His Army services is expected. The Musician should be present and visible in the sanctuary during all services, maintaining a positive and enjoyable demeanor. A servant’s heart, loyalty, and a commitment to the vision of In His Army in fulfilling the Great Commission with integrity and passion are essential. The ideal candidate will be a high-capacity multitasker who can work independently without constant supervision and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Physical Demands:
The role requires the ability and willingness to drive a personal vehicle and the capacity to lift musical equipment as necessary for stage setup.
