Functions in a collaborative role to meet the goals of St. Luke’s. Assists in day-to-day and other assigned responsibilities to facilitate efficient and effective operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs set-ups for meetings, special events, etc. Cleans regularly used areas, including the church, restrooms, kitchen, hallways, offices, classrooms Vacuums regularly, and cleans floors or extracts carpet as requested by supervisor Sets up coffee stations on Sunday mornings and as needed for other events Clean kitchen and wash dishes during and after events as needed. Ensures that all restrooms are properly stocked with paper supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) and soap Works weddings and other special events/services that take place on the weekend and weekday evenings Locks up facilities and arms security system in the absence of the contracted security company Performs minor maintenance under the supervision of the Lead Sexton and Director of Operations Always maintains professional attitude and calm demeanor when interacting with visitors and parishioners Performs other duties as required
