Jazz Musicians & Vocalists Computer Concept Lafayette, LA 70501 We are seeking skilled jazz musicians and vocalists (male and female) to join a live stage production currently in development in Lafayette, Louisiana. The musical is rooted in the jazz styles of the 1930s and 1940s, and the soundtrack features 29 original numbers. The project began three years ago with story and score development. We are now entering the full music composition and rehearsal phase, starting with a quartet and building into a full octet over the next year. The official show premiere is slated for 18 months from now, with investor showcases starting this summer and continuing weekly. Qualifications Proficiency in jazz performance techniques, including improvisation and ensemble playing. Strong vocal skills with experience in jazz vocal styles. Background in theater, enhancing stage presence and performance dynamics. Ability to collaborate with other musicians and adapt to various musical settings. Experience in live performances and a passion for jazz music. Responsibilities Perform a variety of jazz music styles, showcasing improvisation skills and vocal techniques. Collaborate with other musicians and vocalists to create cohesive performances. Participate in rehearsals and practice sessions to refine musical pieces.
