Children’s Music Facilitator 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 24 Exchange Street, Holliston, MA 01746 Job Summary We are seeking a talented, warm, and engaging musician to lead two interactive music classes per week designed for toddlers (ages 1-5) and their caregivers. This is a contract position ideal for someone who brings a playful energy to their music and loves working with young children and families.
About The Herd:
The Herd is a maternal wellness and community space rooted in connection, support, and joy. We host weekly classes, events, and groups that welcome families in all stages of the parenting journey. We believe in creating meaningful experiences for caregivers and their little ones, and music plays a big part in that! Responsibilities Lead one weekday and one weekend music class (approximately 50 minutes each) at The Herd, LLC in Holliston Engage toddlers and caregivers through interactive, age-appropriate songs and musical activities Incorporate movement, rhythm instruments, and opportunities for creative musical expression Curate your own class content, with flexibility to include classics but also original and/or less conventional music Foster a welcoming, joyful environment that supports connection between caregivers and children Engage with the audience during performances to enhance their experience. Requirements Experience performing and/or teaching music to young children and families Comfortable singing and playing an instrument live (e.g., guitar, ukulele, keyboard) Reliable and punctual with consistent weekly availability (one weekday + one weekend morning)
