Church Pianist Holy Cross Lutheran Church 2920 NC-42 Highway West, Clayton, NC 27520 Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Church Pianist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music with the knowledge and ability to play hymns, liturgy, and anthem accompaniments. This role is essential for enhancing the overall experience of our Sunday Worship Services. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and provide the music for a traditional worship service each Sunday and other seasonal services of the church, such as Christmas Eve, Midweek Advent, Ash Wednesday, Midweek Lent, and Good Friday. Work with the pastor to choose hymns based on the church calendar and seasons. Provide music for weddings and funerals, if schedule permits. Qualifications Knowledge and ability to play hymns, liturgy, and anthem accompaniments. Experience preferred. Ability to read sheet music fluently and adapt quickly to new pieces.
