Church Pianist & Accompanist Clayton Methodist Church Clayton, NC 27520 Clayton Methodist Church, a congregation of the Global Methodist Church located in Clayton NC, is seeking a part-time Church Pianist & Accompanist . We are a growing, multi-generational congregation worshiping in a blended service of praise and traditional worship (170 average attendance) and are adding a traditional worship service. Candidate must profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, living a lifestyle within the Christian community to promote Christ to both believers and non-believers. They should have a deep desire to glorify God through worship and lead others into a meaningful worship experience. Proven experience as a Pianist in a church setting Strong proficiency in playing piano Ability to read sheet music fluently, sight read, and play four parts during rehearsal Demonstrates leadership qualities, especially with volunteer musicians and vocalists Has a heart for traditional worship music Participates in weekly services, weekly rehearsals, and special services Choir Direction experience is also desirable but not required Assists the Pastor in planning, coordinating, and leading worship services Leads choir as a spiritual small group Chooses music, recruits choir members (musicians, soloists, ensemble vocalists) Conducts regular rehearsals for each service This position is a salaried part-time position requiring approximately 10 – 12 hours weekly Interested candidates should email their cover letter, resumé, and any supporting documents to jobs@claytonmethodistchurch.com.
