$18.6K – $23.5K a year 22 hours ago Qualifications Mid-level Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Christian Pianist/Director to enhance our worship and other services. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read music and be responsible for providing live piano accompaniment for various productions, rehearsals, and events. This role requires practicing with an adult choir on Wednesday evenings, 11AM Sunday worship services, and special services including Easter and Christmas Eve. Duties Perform live piano music during rehearsals and worship services. Collaborate with the minister in selecting appropriate music (be familiar with church and Christian music. Attend rehearsals regularly to provide musical support and make necessary adjustments based on feedback. Maintain a professional demeanor while working with the minister and congregation. Assist in tuning and maintaining the piano or keyboard instruments used during performances. Experience Proven experience as a Pianist/Director in church setting. Strong proficiency in playing piano. Ability to read sheet music fluently and improvise when necessary. Experience working collaboratively within a team environment is highly desirable. A background in music theory or formal training is a plus.
