Northbridge Baptist Church of Charleston, SC is accepting applications for a part-time Worship Director. Will work as a member of Northbridge Baptist Church staff to deliver a Bible-based dynamic and contemporary worship experience for congregants on Sunday mornings service. Individual must be a born-again Christian with a heart for service and a love for the local church who can work as a part of a team. A successful candidate must have a passion and gifting to lead worship by the Holy Spirit in a contemporary God-honoring style. Applicant must agree with and sign the Employment Policy Commitment of the church. Candidate must live with a testimony above reproach as a member of the church staff. Under the direction of the Senior Pastor, must be able to read music or play to chords,anize and maintain a successful praise band and other volunteers, and use their own vocal/musical talents to lead a congregation in worship.
Responsibilities:
(50%) Leads weekly corporate worship services Sunday morning. Organizes two weekly rehearsals (a weeknight and early Sunday morning) with the worship band. Attends weekly services. (30%) Prepares and practices a call to worship and contemporary worship songs withplimentary traditional style peppered in by usingpelling and biblically accurate worship music. Uploads preparation materials into Planning Center Online and distributes to band members and AV team for practice and performance. Produces the call to worship, musical arrangement, and order of service. (10%) Recruits and schedules members of the praise band as necessary. Plans and performs worship for special services (generally once a quarter). (10%) Participates in weekly staff meeting. Commits to praying over the church, worship ministry, and volunteers.

$15,000 – 20,000
