Church Pianist Position Available In Rutherford, Tennessee

The Stones River Baptist Church worship team is looking for a pianist to join us for Sunday morning worship. We have a grand piano available or you can bring your own keyboard setup. Our music selections are based on a blended worship environment consisting of modern praise and worship alongside traditional hymns played in a more contemporary presentation. A weekly stipend will be paid in appreciation of your efforts. Be a people person; Get to know fellow church members, plug into our church and be a part of our overall vision and mission. Ability to work under direction of the Worship Leader and be a good team player as part of our worship team. Experience in playing worship music of all genres and time periods. Attendance at Sunday morning rehearsal beginning at 8:30am. Attendance at Sunday morning service at 10:30am. Ability to read chord charts/Lead sheets. Ability to do last minute transposition if needed and pick up on live changes. Occasional availability for extra events outside church. Ability to sing and lead worship occasionally would be great also, but not required.
