HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Senior Manager, Planning Systems role is foundational to our Center of Excellence team and reporting to the Project Manager. The right candidate will be trained to assume full ownership of the Carters Anaplan model and to lead the end-to-end implementation of new models. The first objective would be to learn the current Anaplan model, as assigned and prove ability to support the users in day-to-day operations. You’ll work with the CoE team to make enhancement recommendations and architect new models in the Anaplan roadmap. Experience in supply chain planning models is required.
Model Ownership and Support:
(40%) Act as a model owner for Wholesale and Merchandising models Ability to deep dive and learn existing customer models and business process Trace model logic and troubleshoot solutions. Explain root cause analysis and provide solution training to end users Proven technical skills with the ability to translate and understand end-user needs Proven technical skills to learn, adopt and scale complex Anaplan models Responsible for designing, developing, testing and delivering Anaplan models based on the Anaplan way and the customer needs Ability to coordinate among the data integration, scheduling and migration teams Develop inbound and outbound data feeds to and from the Anaplan model Deploy the solution to end-users and provide overall support and training
Project Management:
(30%) Ability to create achievable project plans, including business and technical resource requirement Tracking and provide visibility to project status to Anaplan leaders, IT partners and project stakeholders Skilled at multi-tasking between model management, day to day support, team management and project management
Team Management:
(30%) Collaborate with project team to build Anaplan models in line with best practices and guidance Translate requirements and work with offshore resource to attain project deliverables on and/or enhancements time Onboard and train offshore resources on existing models We’d Love to hear from you if: Must have: Bachelor’s in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field Solution Architect certification is preferred, with a willingness to learn and develop expertise in Anaplan 3+ years of experience building complex multidimensional models in Anaplan 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain or retail 3+ years of team management. Offshore experience is a plus. Excellent customer-facing and communication skills in both in-person and remote settings
