Kennel Technician Gardner Animal Hospital 1561 N Eufaula Ave, Eufaula, AL 36027
Kennel Technician Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and supervision for animals in the kennel facility
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs
- Clean and sanitize kennel areas, including cages, bedding, and common areas
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with grooming and bathing of animals as needed
- Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service
Experience:
- Previous experience working with animals preferred
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
- Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team This position requires heavy lifting, as well as regular interaction with animals.
