In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision for dogs in a daycare setting. Your love for animals and ability to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment will be essential in ensuring the well-being of our furry guests. This position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle various dog breeds with confidence. Duties Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment by regularly cleaning play areas, kennels, and equipment. Feed and provide fresh water to dogs according to their specific dietary needs. Monitor the behavior of dogs, identifying any signs of stress or aggression, and take appropriate action. Provide basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing when necessary. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior, health, and any incidents that may arise during their stay. Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving dog crates or supplies as required. Requirements Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners. Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal behavior. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activity throughout the day. Familiarity with kennel operations or veterinary assistance is a plus. Certification in animal restraint or dog training is advantageous but not required. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
