Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team! As a Groomer at Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the safety and well-being of every pet in your care.

Responsibilities:

Perform full grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and breed-specific cuts. Shape and style coats to accentuate pet features while ensuring comfort and well-being. Handle and groom dogs of all breeds and sizes with expert control of clippers, shears, brushes, and other grooming tools. Assess and identify skin and coat conditions, ensuring proper care and recommending treatments when necessary. Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary grooming environment, including cleaning kennels, tables, and tools. Maintain excellent customer service by consulting with pet parents to understand their preferences and provide grooming recommendations. Monitor pets for signs of distress, illness, or behavioral issues and report any concerns. Provide stress-relief techniques such as massages and gentle handling to keep pets calm and comfortable.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience in a pet salon, veterinary clinic, or similar setting. Ability to groom dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of canine behavior, breed identification, and coat care. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
