The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for the grooming and care of various pets, ensuring they look their best while also maintaining their health and well-being. • This job is a desirable day shift, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM working five days a week. Pay rate is hourly and based on experience.• Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming options, aftercare, and any observed health concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Assist in the care of animals in the kennel area when needed, ensuring they are fed, exercised, and monitored for health issues. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old with a reliable mode of transportation. At least 2 years of previous pet grooming experience. Customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their concerns or requests. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals or moving equipment and familiarity with animal restraint techniques for safe handling.
