This role is essential in ensuring the well-being of the animals while also assisting with customer service needs. Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the management or veterinary staff. Assist with animal restraint during grooming or medical procedures as needed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs and well-being. Support dog training sessions by following established protocols and assisting trainers as necessary. Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or larger animals safely. Assist with administrative tasks related to kennel operations as required. Requirements Previous experience in pet care, kennel work, or veterinary settings is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members. Ability to handle various breeds of dogs and other animals safely and compassionately. Knowledge of basic animal restraint techniques is a plus. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
