Job Description:

As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services, including bathing, trimming, cutting, and styling pets’ fur. You will work closely with pet owners to ensure their pets’ needs are met while offering a stress-free and enjoyable experience for the animals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services for a variety of pets (dogs, cats, etc.)
• Bathe, brush, clip, and style pets’ fur according to breed standards or client requests
• Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other grooming services as needed
• Assess pets’ overall health and report any signs of illness or injury to owners
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming station
• Handle pets with care and in a gentle, patient manner
• Communicate with pet owners about grooming options, prices, and services

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pet Groomer (minimum 1 year}
• Certification from a recognized grooming school is a plus
• Knowledge of different breeds and grooming styles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with pet owners
• Passion for animals and their well-being
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting pets
