As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and safety during the grooming process. Your expertise will help maintain the health and well-being of our furry clients while delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling of various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention. Handle animals safely and effectively, using appropriate restraint techniques when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Communicate with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs, providing recommendations for care at home. Ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners through excellent customer service. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices in animal care. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary assistance or animal care is required. Skills in dog handling, animal restraint, and basic veterinary knowledge are highly beneficial. Familiarity with various dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements is an advantage.
