The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences. Handle and restrain animals safely during grooming procedures to ensure their comfort and safety. Inspect pets for any signs of skin conditions, parasites, or other health issues and communicate findings to pet owners. Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, equipment, and tools to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with pet owners and addressing their concerns or requests. Assist in the care of animals in the facility, including feeding, walking, and general supervision. Stay updated on grooming techniques and trends to provide the best service possible. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as animal care or veterinary assistance is preferred. Strong skills in animal handling with the ability to manage various breeds and temperaments safely. Knowledge of pet care practices including bathing techniques, coat types, and grooming tools. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.
