The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet the needs of pet owners. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments with care. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs. Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming. Handle pets safely and comfortably, using proper animal restraint techniques when necessary. Collaborate with Owner or staff when health issues are identified during grooming sessions. Foster a positive relationship with clients through excellent customer service. Experience Proven experience in pet grooming is required. Familiarity with various dog breeds, their specific grooming needs, and behavior traits. Experience in a kennel environment setting is advantageous. Skills in animal restraint techniques are beneficial for ensuring safety during grooming sessions. Previous experience in customer service is essential to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their concerns.
