If you live, sleep, and breathe dogs, are passionate about animal care, and have experience working with dogs (or want to learn more!), we want to meet you. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to build on a career in pet care in a fast-paced and challenging environment

• experience is preferred, but we’re open to training the right applicants with an enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Must be over 18 years old. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting in the supervision of dog playgroups as well as one-on-one playtimes.
• Handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, & temperaments.
• Daily cleaning (indoors and outdoors).
• Preparing meals & medications.
• Occasional bathing dogs.
• Greeting and interacting with human clients.
• Working holidays and weekends.

The right candidate will have:

• Basic knowledgeable of dog care, body language, and common breeds.
• A high level of comfort handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, individually and in a pack.
• The ability to lift at least 50 lbs and be on your feet for 6+ hours in all types of weather.
• Your own reliable transportation (within reasonable driving distance of Wilton, CT).
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with cats a plus!
