Applicants must:

1. Be at least 17 years of age 2. Have a valid ID 3. Have your own reliable transportation 4. Be trustworthy and dependable 5. Have no allergies to rodents or nonvenomous snakes 6. Be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs safely 7. Work in hot and humid conditions Responsibilities Include

• Provide daily care and attention to animals under supervision.
• Assist with feeding, cleaning and breeding animals.
• Monitor and report any changes in animal behavior or health.
• Clean and maintain animal living spaces to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
• Follow established protocols for handling and restraining animals.
• Engage in continuous learning to improve animal care techniques.

Full and Part-time Starting Pay:

$14.00 per hour (opportunities for advancement after 90 days) Schedule Seven days/week 8am-5pm

Education:

High school or equivalent

Experience Required:

Previous animal lab technician experience preferred, but not required. On-the-job training is provided.
