Duties will include feeding horses, cleaning stalls, bringing horses to/from the pastures, assisting the vet/farrier, general facility upkeep (sweeping, tidying common areas), light maintenance (fixing fence boards, cleanup). Assist the manager in maintaining herd health, supply inventory, etc. Must have extensive horse experience and be comfortable handling horses of all ages. Seeking a self-starter that works efficiently and interacts professionally with our clients. Must have reliable transportation. Full time 5 days per week set schedule or part time minimum 25 hours per week. Weekends required. Holidays required, but will be shorter shifts to take care of the basic needs of the horses. We are happy to work around weekly class schedules, but if you are frequently away during semester breaks, this would not be a good fit.
