As a weekend Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility, ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, yards and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to staff. Handle heavy lifting when moving animals or cleaning supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure all animals receive proper care and attention. Qualifications Previous experience in pet care, animal handling, or vet settings is preferred. Knowledge of animal behavior and basic vet practices is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care is required.
