The ideal candidate must have a passion for animals and be able to function in a fast past and highly active multi tasking environment. This role involves working closely with various breeds of dogs and cats, providing a safe and clean environment for them while maintaining a positive experience. Must be able to Bath, Brush, Dematt, Blow Out, Fluff, do Nails, do Anal Glands, do Pads, do Ears, & do Nails. Responsibilities Bath pets according to our specific requirements And standards. Safely handle and restrain animals during the bathing process to insure no injury to both the pet and the staff. Maintain cleanliness in the bathing kennel area, and throug out the store. Washing towels, drying towels, cleaning equipment, disposing of waste, and completing daily end of day daily tasks. Always monitor pets and surroundings and report any issues or concerns to management. Assist in drying, brushing, blow out, and brush out of pets as required. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively always. Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both animals and the entire staff. Skills Experience in veterinary settings or pet grooming is highly desirable But not tequired. Strong knowledge of animal care practices, including handling, restraint, and behavior management Is a must. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment. Proficiency in dog handling techniques and familiarity with various dog breeds a plus. Experience in kennel operations or pet sitting is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact is a plus. A positive working attitude, respect, civility, responsibility, good ethics, honest, and punctuality a must. Ability to work in a fast pace and busy environment a must!!!
