The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional grooming services to pets of all breeds and sizes. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of each animal while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients’ expectations. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling of pets. Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Handle and restrain animals safely during grooming procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet’s grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming. Provide additional care such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing as needed. Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, styles, and trends in pet care. Assist in managing appointments and scheduling for grooming sessions. Qualifications Previous experience in pet grooming 3-5 years Strong skills in animal handling, including dog handling and animal restraint. Knowledge of pet care practices and basic animal health is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals or equipment. Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively. A compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their well-being.
