• We’re a growing, home-based dog sitting business offering personalized overnight care in clients’ homes across Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, and expanding into North Port and Sarasota. We provide a safe, familiar environment for pets while their owners are away, and we’re looking for trustworthy, animal-loving individuals to join our overnight care team. Position Summary
• We’re hiring responsible and compassionate sitters to stay overnight in clients’ homes and care for their dogs (and sometimes other pets).

This role is perfect for someone with flexible availability who loves animals and understands the importance of maintaining a pet’s routine while their owner is away. What You’ll Do Stay overnight in the client’s home (roughly 6-9 PM to 7-9 AM) Walk, feed, and provide companionship to dogs during your stay Administer basic medications (if needed) Ensure pets are safe, calm, and comfortable throughout the night Provide regular updates (texts/photos) to pet owners Perform a daytime check-in, if required (included unless otherwise discussed)

• Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during their stay or visit. Maintain a clean and organized environment for the pets, including cleaning litter boxes and pet areas.
• Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the owner promptly.
• Engage with pets through playtime and exercise to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs and any issues that arise during care.
• Handle various types of animals, including dogs, cats, and potentially equines or other small animals. Pay Structure
• $120
• 160 per overnight stay (dependent on number of pets, medications, and special care needs) Additional compensation for extended hours or multiple check-ins Ideal Candidate Genuine love and patience for animals Comfortable staying in unfamiliar homes Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Able to pass a background check Responsible, clean, and respectful of clients’ homes Age 18+ Nice-to-Have Skills (Not Required•Prior experience with pet sitting, boarding, or overnight care Familiarity with a variety of dog breeds, ages, and temperaments Pet CPR/first aid certification •.

Proficiency in animal handling techniques to ensure safe interactions with various breeds and sizes. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for larger animals or equipment. Basic understanding of dog training techniques is a plus for managing behavior effectively. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners and provide updates on their pets’ status. Experience in pet sitting , demonstrating reliability and trustworthiness in caring for others’ animals. Service Areas
