In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and customer service, with a genuine love for animals. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats of all breeds. Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any observed health issues. Handle animals safely and compassionately, using proper restraint techniques when necessary. Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming is a must. Strong skills in animal handling, including restraint techniques for various breeds. Familiarity with grooming tools and equipment is essential. Customer service experience is highly valued to enhance client interactions. Knowledge of dog training or kennel operations can be beneficial.
