Kennel Tech I R Staffing Brooksville, FL 34601 Kennel Worker $15.00 hr. Full time Every schedule will include at least one weekend day.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Experience with animals Valid Florida Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the insurance provider.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Assists the public with drop off and adoption of animals as well as maintain accurate records of such activities. 2. Washes and sterilizes kennels, cat rooms, and quarantine areas. 3. Maintains records of kennel supplies. 4. Performs general maintenance work outside the compound and inside kennel aisles. 5. Feeds and waters animals daily and maintains sanitary eating and drinking conditions for animals. 6. Cleans and washes litter pans, food, and water bowls daily. 7. Works varied schedules, holidays, weekends and emergencies, on-call or call back status; may work varying locations and assignments as needed to assist officers. 8. Maintains grounds around kennel and animal control office (mowing, weeding, cleaning, etc.). 9. Maintains regular attendance. All Kennel Workers are considered essential personnel and will be called in to stay during emergency events. Summary As a Kennel Tech, you will be essential in providing high-quality animal care in our facility. Reporting to the Kennel Manager, your core responsibilities will include animal handling, pet care, and maintaining a safe environment for the animals. Your premium skills in dog training and will enhance the care provided to our furry clients. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and physical stamina will support our mission of delivering exceptional service to pet owners.
