In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services for pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess strong customer service skills, as you will interact with pet owners to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Gently bathe and groom pets according to their specific needs and breed standards. Safely handle animals of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring their comfort during the bathing process. Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area, including washing towels, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces. Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs and any observations regarding their health or behavior. Assist in drying and brushing pets after baths, ensuring they are well-groomed and presentable. Monitor pets during grooming sessions for any signs of stress or discomfort, addressing concerns promptly. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering advice on pet care practices. Experience Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Experience as a veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or in pet care roles such as dog training or pet sitting is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
