Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, where you can showcase your love for animals and your grooming expertise.
Duties:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin and provide appropriate grooming treatments
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grooming area and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing clients’ concerns and answering their questions
- Assist with other tasks related to pet care as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs and cats
- Familiarity with kennel operations, animal care, and dog training is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when necessary
