We strive to provide exceptional, personalized Weekly, Vacation, and Extended Stay pet care services to pets and their people—365 days a year. Want to be your own boss? We’re looking for a pet-loving professional to join our team and assist with our Weekly, Vacation, and Extended-Stay Services (Overnights and/or Day Stays). This role can stay as a flexible, independent contractor position, or it has the potential to grow into an employee-based role on our dedicated, pet-loving team. What You’ll be Doing in

Your Pet Sitter Role:

This is a hands-on, physically active role that involves driving between client homes (5-15 miles), working indoors and outdoors in changing environments, and caring for pets with different needs and personalities. This includes (but is not limited to): Following individualized care routines, including administering medications when required Providing care with sensitivity and knowledge of Fear Free principles Maintaining cleanliness of pet’s living space (food, water, litter, accidents, etc.) Performing basic home care tasks Communicating with clients promptly after each visit Finding a way to go above and beyond the basics of care with every service

service area (34736 &34737) Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license Work history that includes pet care experience (vet tech/assistant, shelter volunteer, groomer/groomer’s assistant, kennel attendant, boarding/doggy daycare assistant, dog trainer, animal caretaker, professional pet sitter/dog walker) Confidence to care for pets that are big or small, shy, fearful, energetic, elderly, or medically needy Dependability and Integrity – our clients and pets rely on your in-it-to-win-it presence! A flexible attitude that adapts to changing environments, weather, and circumstances Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Smartphone and know-how to use mobile apps Strong observational skills with ability to problem-solve in the moment Confidence to work independently while being accountable to both client and team Understanding of how to operate as an independent contractor in Florida Clean criminal background check
