The ideal candidate will have multiple years of professional experience grooming dogs. Experience grooming cats is a plus. Our salon is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service with a focus on quality (not quantity) breed standard haircuts. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options. Handle animals safely and compassionately, using proper animal restraint techniques when necessary. Monitor the behavior of pets during grooming sessions to ensure their safety and comfort. Requirements Previous years of experience in pet grooming. Strong knowledge of breed standard haircuts, scissoring techniques. Ability to perform grooming services on all breed types, from small dogs to extra large dogs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
