Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Pet Retail / Doggy Daycare Associate to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers and our furry friends. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment as well as dog behavioral skills. Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by answering dog and cat related nutritional questions, addressing concerns, booking grooming appointments with rotating into our doggy daycare and pet hotel areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized retail store environment, including the doggy daycare and pet hotel area, to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
• Assist customers with pet care products, including food, toys, and accessories.
• Handle animals safely and humanely, including dogs and other pets that may visit the store.
• Provide guided tours of the doggy daycare and pet hotel areas.
• Assist with animal restraint and handling as needed.
• Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Requirements
• Previous experience in Pet Retail Sales or a doggy daycare environment.
• Experience with animal care and handling, including dog handling.
• Knowledge of animal restraint and handling techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear and concise product information. Skills
• Preferred dog and cat food nutritional knowledge.
• Preferred experience working in a Pet Retail environment.
• Must currently be a pet parent.
• Exceptional customer service and sales experience
• Dog handling knowledge
• Experience working in a kennel environment
