As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry clients while providing exceptional grooming services. Your expertise in animal care and grooming techniques will help create a positive experience for pets and their owners alike. Responsibilities Provide professional grooming services including bathing, clipping, and styling for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require veterinary attention. Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Build strong relationships with pet owners by offering advice on grooming maintenance, pet care, and health. Handle animals with care and compassion, using proper restraint techniques when necessary to ensure safety. Keep accurate records of services performed and any observations regarding the pet’s health or behavior. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming is preferred; however, candidates with strong animal care backgrounds will also be considered. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs. Knowledge of animal behavior, handling techniques, and basic veterinary assistant skills is a plus. Familiarity with various grooming tools and equipment, as well as techniques for different breeds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality care to pets. Previous experience as a veterinary technician or in roles such as pet sitting or kennel management is advantageous.
