The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care and grooming services. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that dogs look their best while also prioritizing their comfort and well-being. This role requires both technical grooming skills and excellent customer service abilities to build lasting relationships with dog owners. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, and styling of various breeds of dogs. Assess the condition of dogs’ coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require veterinary attention. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with dog owners about grooming options and aftercare. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Van, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition. Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process. Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends to provide high-quality services. Assist in managing appointments, scheduling, and following up with clients as needed. Experience Previous experience in dog grooming is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with animal care practices, including dog handling and general dog care knowledge. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with dog owners and address their needs. Ability to handle various breeds of dogs safely and confidently, demonstrating patience and understanding.
