Pet Sitter/Dog Walker Sam’s Pet House Kendall, FL 33183 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care for dogs during their walks. This role involves ensuring the safety, health, and happiness of our canine clients while also maintaining positive relationships with their owners. Duties Take dogs on scheduled walks, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation. Monitor the behavior and health of each dog during walks, reporting any concerns to the owner. Maintain control of dogs at all times, using proper handling techniques to ensure safety Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior and needs. Maintain a clean and organized environment for the dogs before and after walks. Assist with additional pet care tasks as required, including feeding or administering medication. Experience Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred but not required. Skills in pet grooming, customer service, and animal restraint will be beneficial Experience as a veterinary technician or in a kennel environment is a plus. Strong knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques is essential. A passion for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality care are crucial for success in this role.
