Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a love for animals and enjoy making them look and feel their best.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets’ fur
- Clip nails, clean ears, and brush teeth as needed
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin and recommend appropriate grooming treatments
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client requests and concerns
- Keep accurate records of grooming services provided
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a related role is preferred
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs and cats
- Familiarity with pet care products and equipment
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain pets when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
