Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Pet Groomer who is skilled, compassionate, and dedicated to providing exceptional grooming services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grooming a variety of dog breeds, excellent customer service skills, and a deep love for animals. As a part of our team, you’ll work in a friendly, supportive environment where the well-being of pets is the top priority.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform grooming services including brushing, bathing, ear and teeth cleaning, nail trimming, and haircutting according to breed standards or client requests. Provide gentle and patient handling of all pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including disinfecting grooming tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of professional pet grooming experience. Proficiency in grooming various dog breeds, including breed-specific cuts. Certification from a recognized grooming school is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow client instructions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care and patience. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends. Passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
